Professionally, Dr. Davies belongs to the Association of Women Surgeons, the American College of Surgeons, and the Association of Plastic Surgeons where she is active with the Women's Caucus.
Dr. Davies was born and raised in central Pennsylvania and received most of her training in her home state. She received a B.A. in liberal Arts from the Pennsylvania State University, an M.D. from the Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia (where she was vice president of AOA), and completed five full years of General Surgery training at the Thomas Jefferson University Hospitals in Philadelphia. Her Plastic Surgery Residency was completed at the Ohio State University Hospitals. She is Board Certified in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
Professionally, Dr. Davies belongs to the Association of Women Surgeons, the American College of Surgeons, and the Association of Plastic Surgeons (where she is active with the Women's Caucus. Dr. Davies has served as the medical director of the Savannah Plastic Surgicenter, managing partner and is presently manager of Savannah Plastic Surgery marketing department. She maintains a broad-spectrum practice but has trended (by demand) toward cosmetic and breast surgery in the last few years.
As a baby-boomer, she understands the desires and goals of the generation and has experienced cosmetic surgery herself. She believes there is no reason you shouldn't look as young as you feel.
Dr. Davies has authored several articles about cosmetic procedures.
