Joining Savannah Plastic Surgery is Dr. Robert Pettigrew. Dr. Pettigrew's practice emphasizes patient education, cosmetic and restorative dentistry. The latest materials and techniques are always utilized and our new office is state of the art.
Dr. Pettigrew earned his Bachelor of Arts degrees from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville. He received his D.D.S degree from the University of Tennessee in Memphis. After completing Dental school, Dr. Pettigrew was accepted into the General Practice Residency program at Vanderbilt University in Nashville. Following the two year residency, Dr. Pettigrew was asked to remain on staff as a clinical professor of Dentistry and remained at Vanderbilt for thirteen years. Dr. Pettigrew moved to Savannah in 2004 to open his new practice with Savannah Plastic Surgery. Dr. Pettigrew is a member of the American Dental Association, the Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. Our office carries Perfecta Rev < the revolutionary new bleaching product. Most patients find they suffer less sensitivity and are getting more pleasing and dramatic results (in a fraction of the time).
Patients enjoy the convenience of being able to bleach their teeth at their convenience. The whitening gel is applied to the teeth in a custom-made soft, comfortable plastic tray. The gentle oxygenating action of peroxide gel and finishing rinse of Rev safely removes stains from teeth.The office also offers Children's Hygiene Education. Our skilled hygienist will instruct children in proper brushing and flossing techniques. The children will be given a tour of the office in order to familiarize them with the procedures and equipment.
